So here we are, Shanghai China and I am please to report that it has been a great SUCCESS!!!! For me the victory has been learning how I perform under pressure. And we are talking pressure cooker here people like someone was trying to make hummus. One take!!! Filming a show in one take is no joke and you truly have to be focused and fearless. As a performer I am sometimes a friend of the voices in my head that obsessively critique and scrutinized my every move. This voice is useful at times because it motivate me to press on to the next level (long accent the L sound). But onstage during the filming it was my biggest obstacle. Sometimes you just have to step out of your own way and be free!!! But I know for everyone this one was a huge success. The love among the dancers and the willingness to work together and “make it happen” was on a new level (long accent the L sound). So to that I say Hazah!!!!
Happy Holidays to everyone and don’t forget that the Bableques out on DVD, so even though you have to wait for Art of Bellydance you can still get your BDSS on. I am sure it makes a great stockening stuffer.
Peace and Joy

I’m sure the filming came out great! Did you guys film the show in one take w/o audience or with audience or both?
